The JISC Digitisation Strategy emphasises the creation of digital content that is relevant to particular areas of the curriculum or research interest, would not otherwise be funded, is at risk from being lost to the educational community and contributes to creating a critical mass within a given area.

Digitisation

Material that has been digitised include newspapers, photographs, journals, theses plus other scholarly and cultural heritage. The JISC Digitisation Strategy emphasises the creation of digital content that is relevant to particular areas of the curriculum or research interest, would not otherwise be funded, is at risk from being lost to the educational community and contributes to creating a critical mass within a given area.
