e-Administration is one of JISC's strategic themes. Here is all the work that JISC is doing in the area of e-Administration.

e-Administration

e-Administration is ‘the effective management of the coordination and control of business processes and the electronic information they create’. It has two fundamental objectives: to increase the efficiency of administrative processes within institutions and to lessen the administrative burden faced by all staff during  this process.

JISC’s e-Administration activities are comprised of four distinct, yet inter-related areas: Technical infrastructure; User Environments; Organisational Support and Information Governance & Management. This ensures that relevant issues and stakeholders’ concerns are considered in their totality whilst also enabling the component parts of the e-Administration agenda to be embedded appropriately within existing JISC development and support activities.
