JISC has decided to cease funding for the JISC Mirror
Service - see our press release.
The JISC National Mirror service is a vast online
collection of the latest versions of freely available electronic material
of interest to the UK academic community. The service provides copies, or
'mirrors', of software and data collections found on computer
networks throughout the world. This makes it easier for individuals to
quickly access popular and in-demand academic web-based materials and
reduces transatlantic network traffic.
