What we can do for you

Promoting best practice in the sector

The service disseminates a wide range of resources via the service website highlighting best practice in relation to use of the Internet and associated technology to help address plagiarism and promote an understanding of the need for appropriate attribution of all sources, including those available electronically. The plagiarism discussion forum also encourages a lively debate on the topic amongst members of the academic community, and active participation from practitioners is encouraged via submission of case studies and briefing papers which serve to extend a growing evidence base on the subject.

Conference

The biennial international plagiarism conference, run by the service attracts delegates from all areas of the education sector, and encourages debate and sharing of innovative practices in the ethical use of technology in teaching and learning, and in addressing issues of originality.

Workshops

We provide face to face training and awareness sessions, along with video resources which highlight the impact of technology on plagiarism, and promote resources and techniques to encourage correct attribution of sources.

Helpdesk

We maintain an email and telephone enquiry service with an initial response guaranteed within 24 hours on all aspects of our work.
