Providing high quality training and staff development since 1995. We help institutions make effective use of technology for teaching and learning, research, administration, marketing and other activities. Netskills is based at Newcastle University and is partly-funded by JISC.
What we offer
Workshops for individuals across the UK. We provide a wide range of hands-on workshops delivered at regional centres throughout the country. Workshop themes include:
Search for content on all of the JISC services websites On-site workshops for your organisation. Targeted onsite training from Netskills is often more effective and motivating for a department or team than sending individuals to separate events over a long period of time.
Training materials Cost effective resources that can to be used in a variety of different ways to suit your environment. With a huge range of over 100 different modules, developed for our workshops, are on offer. The Netskills materials range has something for everyone.
Online, self-paced tutorials (TONIC) TONIC is an interactive and clear introduction to the internet, the web and much more.
Professional development accreditation programmes As well as attending Netskills workshops, you can earn Netskills/BTEC Professional Development certification in Web Development, Training Skills or e-Learning by joining one our accreditation schemes.
Content development Netskills has the knowledge, experience and tools to quickly develop the content and material you need, whether it is for a learning platform, web site development or online training course.
