ESDS International is a specialist service of the Economic and Social
Data Service (ESDS) led by Mimas with support from the UK Data Archive at
the University of Essex.
ESDS International provides access and support for a range of international
macro and micro data series and surveys. The service promotes and
facilitates increased and more effective use of international datasets in
research, learning and teaching across a range of disciplines. Search for content on

The extensive macro data portfolio is built around international
statistical databanks produced by intergovernmental organisations such as
the World Bank, IMF, OECD and UNIDO that collectively chart over 50 years
of global, social and economic change. Topics covered include national
accounts, industrial production, employment, trade, demography, human
development and other indicators of national performance and
development. The service will also help users to locate and acquire
international micro level datasets, such as Eurobarometer, ISSP and the
World and European Values Surveys.
Access to the International macro data is provided free to UK academics and
researchers via Athens authentication and online ESDS
registration. Data is delivered via Beyond 20/20 Web Data Server, a
fully accessible application specifically designed for data dissemination,
analysis and visualisation.
