JISC infoNet aims to be the UK's leading advisory service for managers in the post-compulsory education sector promoting the effective strategic planning, implementation and management of information and learning technology.

The JISC infoNet service:

• synthesises and disseminates information about new developments and their strategic implications, particularly the outcomes of JISC innovation programmes

  Search for content on all of the JISC services websites

• provides an authoritative source of good practice models and guidance based upon the synthesis of proven experience within the sector
• helps institutions embed good practice and build capacity in the sector through the provision of high quality targeted staff development
• supports enhancement of learning providers' core activities through use of technology by encouraging the sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience with an emphasis on addressing human and organisational barriers

We do this by developing a portfolio of resources, by partnership with other providers and by listening to others to inform the development of the JISC infoNet service and the planning of future JISC innovation work.

What we offer

Whether you are a senior manager leading institutional strategy or you are working in the field of systems, processes or e-learning, JISC infoNet has resources that can help you improve the support for, and quality of, learning and teaching in your institution.  Its resources are freely available to institutions and individuals in the UK further and higher education sectors via its website.

Built around our infoKit branding, our online resources promote good practice and highlight innovation in the use of ICT within the sector. To accompany these materials a number of publications are also available to order or download from our website

We also run a number of supporting events and workshops, details of which can be found on our site, as well as attending many of the major ICT/education conferences as exhibitors or speakers.
