SUNCAT, a serials union catalogue for the UK, is both a tool for locating
serials held in UK libraries and a central source of high-quality records
that can be used by university and college libraries to upgrade their local
catalogues. The catalogue contains information on both print and electronic
serials, including journals, periodicals, newspapers, newsletters,
magazines, proceedings, annual reports and other publications of a
