Intellectual Property Rights meeting

The workshop was planned with the X4L, 5/99, and FAIR programmes in mind and the issues covered at the meeting were targeted at the projects funded through those programmes. The agenda for the meeting is available below.

The aims of the workshop were:

  • to update delegates on the current IPR situation regarding electronic materials
  • to offer presentations and discussions on  a range of IPR issues that are relevant to the different programmes

During the day issues such as the depositors licence that is being drawn up for the JORUM were covered. A plenary session was held, and the questions and answers recorded. This document is available below.

A number of presentations were also given throughout the day on a variety of topics impinging on the JISC, projects and IPR. The presentations are avilable below. A report of the workshop has also been published in Issue 36 of Ariadne.
