Evaluation toolkits

Start date: 31 October 2002

End date: 31 July 2003

Funding programme: JISC Organisational Support programme

JISC theme(s): e-Administration

In April 2000 JCALT commisioned the development of a web-based Evaluation Toolkit (Evaluation of Learning and Media Toolkit) with which to investigate how ICT learning materials can be evaluated with regards their appropriateness for a particular use.  As a result of this project research and a realisation that there are many existing evaluation toolkits being used within the FE/HE sectors JCALT then commissioned this project to review all available evaluation toolkits.

Aims and Objectives

To produce a searchable website which provides a directory of tools and toolkits in the broad area of curriculum development, media selection, resource selection, assessment and quality assurance, and those used for the evaluation of ICT development projects.  This resource will be made freely available on the internet for the FE/HE sectors.
