See the final transformation stories
The JISC e-Learning team will be managing six projects based in Scotland, which will test conclusions made about e-learning in Further and Higher education. Through £6 million funding from the Scottish Funding Councils for Further and Higher Education, the activities will include:
- materials development to enable innovative course delivery, particularly in Higher National, modern and apprentice degree courses
- examine the use of new approaches to assessment
- encourage partnerships between FE and HE institutions, for mutual benefit
As well as offering direct benefits to hosting institutions and the education community at large, the projects should enable links between the Scottish funding councils and JISC, in particular its advisory services.
For more details, see the official media release
Projects
The projects came to the end of the funded period in Autumn 2007. The SFC and the project teams be taking this work forward over the next 2 years to embed and disseminate their work. Instead of final project reports, they have produced a series of transformation stories which highlight keys issues, lessons learned and outputs.
