I am a Programme Manager in the e-Research Team, with primary responsibility for leading the new Research Infrastructure programme and the existing Shared Infrastructure Services (SIS) programme in the Information Environment (IE). The former deals with grid computing (from campus grids up to the National Grid Service  - (NGS) to worldwide collaboration across grids); virtualisation and cloud computing. The latter covers the provision of services that help users navigate the IE and includes registries (eg RELI and Names services)
